CWC issues flood advisory for Assam and West Bengal after GLOF in BhutanThe Central Water Commission issued a special flood advisory for West Bengal and Assam on 30 October after a Glacial Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF) was reported at Shintaphu Lake in Bhutan.

चक्रवात अर्णब के बाद अत्यधिक वर्षा से दक्षिणी ओडिशा में बाढ़काकीनाडा के निकट आंध्र प्रदेश–यानम तट पर पहुँचे चक्रवात अर्णब के अवशेषों ने ओडिशा के गंजाम, गजपति और कंधमाल ज़िलों में अत्यधिक वर्षा की, जिससे हज़ारों लोग फँस गए।
