CAQM steps up enforcement against air pollution across Delhi-NCR

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) reviewed enforcement across the National Capital Region at a meeting of its Enforcement Task Force. Its teams carried out 124 inspections between 25 September and 10 October 2026 — at construction sites, industries and diesel generator sets — and the Commission asked for continued inspections, focusing on Red and Orange category industries with furnaces and boilers.
