India's forex reserves fall by $5 billion to $721 billion
भारत का विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार 5 अरब डॉलर घटकर 721 अरब डॉलर पर
The fall came mainly from foreign currency assets, which dropped by about US$ 5.7 billion to about US$ 591.8 billion, while gold reserves rose by US$ 706 million to US$ 105.8 billion. Analysts link recent declines to RBI's intervention to steady the rupee amid high crude oil prices.
