National Social Security Board notified for unorganised, gig and platform workers

The Board is chaired by the Union Labour Minister and includes representatives of the Centre, States, aggregators, employers, workers' unions and gig-worker associations. It must meet at least three times a year, advise the Centre on schemes for different categories of workers and review State-level record keeping and fund use. Gig and platform workers register on the e-Shram portal.
