If a Government Analyst finds a drug not of standard quality on assay, dissolution, related substances, impurities or sterility, the licence can be suspended without first issuing a show-cause notice. It will be restored only after root-cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) verified by the licensing authority. The draft is open for public comments for 30 days.
